Property Manager

Your role with us

The municipality's property portfolio consists of approximately 530,000 m2 and about 140,000 m2 of leased premises. You will be part of a team that includes property managers, technical managers, and property repairers.

You will work with business development tasks such as indoor and outdoor environment issues and space adaptations. Part of the role involves drafting lease agreements, tenant contact, as well as leasing premises and adapting spaces for tenants. You will also have some budget responsibility.

Your work will also include being responsible for maintenance plans and carrying out planned maintenance to maintain or develop the properties' function and value. Some tasks will also include project management. We strive for a strong team spirit, broad knowledge, and good service to our customers.

Who are we looking for?

You who are applying are a civil engineer with a focus on construction or management or have other equivalent qualifications that the employer assesses as equivalent. We want you to have at least one year of experience as a property manager, and if you have many years of experience, it is an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have completed courses in rental law and economics as part of your education or individual courses.

As communication and documentation are part of the job, you can communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing and handle the Office package in your daily work. If you have previously worked in a property management system, it is an advantage. You who are applying to us have a B driver's license to be able to get around the municipality if needed.

As a person, you are responsible, can work independently, and can drive projects. You are social and can create contacts and collaborate with people both externally and internally. We also want you to have a sense of service and be solution-focused. Sometimes the workload can be a bit higher, which means you need to be stress-resistant and maintain your structure in your work.

If you are offered employment, you need to order and present an extract from the police's criminal record.

The Technical Committee is responsible through the technical management for the development, construction, and management of the municipality's public places and buildings. The committee also has the task of organizing municipal water and sewage supply (VA) and is the road authority for the municipal roads.
